      The SunPetal modular shading system is designed to adjust to windows of varying widths, providing a flexible and cost-effective solution that delivers a faster payback through energy savings. Additionally, the system’s louvered blades are positioned above the window header, while the side support brackets are mounted outboard of the window on each side. These design features help maintain clear, unobstructed views to the outdoors. 

      No, the system works at both existing and new construction by mechanically fastening to the building structural framing of the window jambs at each side.

      The SunPetal has been tested for hurricane winds of 180 mph and snow and ice loading of 400 lbs. per unit.
